Okay I’m gonna be brief, I know I said in my first post I’d try to post often, but obviously THAT won’t be happening. Ugh. Not like anyone reads this. But here’s an email my aunt Tammy just sent me in regards to my aunt Stacey… On the left, my aunt Stacey, on the right, my aunt Tammy.
Dear family and friends,
I am writing this email with GREAT sadness. My best friend, my sister Stacey Jones, had a lung collapse about three weeks ago. She has had exploratory surgery and it has been discovered that she has a cancerous tumor in her upper lobe of the left lung. She will be having her lung removed this coming week. Stacey is an amazing person, 25 years ago she was a St. Jude’s child at the age of 15 and was the only one in 1984 to beat a horrible bone cancer and have her leg amputated. She is an inspiration to all and a hero to me. She works Partylite at night and is an Electrical Engineer in the day. She only has short term disability and her recovery will be long since they will be removing her lung. She is single and has a child in college … She will be feeling this not only physically but also financially and emotionally. I have put together the attached fundraiser to help her through these tough times. If you could PLEASE pass it around to collect orders and/or order something yourself, your efforts and generosity are GREATLY appreciated. 50% profit will be raised and this matter is extremely urgent as we are trying to have this fundraiser finalized this Friday, April 24th so that Stacey doesn’t need any other worries on her plate except to fight hard and heal quickly.
